minor facelift

we did a little cosmetic surgery over the weekend, and put a sweet new door on the shop. Imagine the world of treasures that lay beyond the threshold of the doorway.

WINTER COMES IN WITH GUSTO

So these photos are a few weeks old, when the Portland area got bitch slapped by Mother Nature's icy palm. Basically the snow was very charming at first, and slowly overstayed it's welcome and became a transit nightmare. Of course this meant that the city of Portland would completely shut down, cockblocking all businesses big and small. These pictures are from when it was charming and pretty, shortly before it became icy and treacherous.

completely snowed in.
the show must go on.
I tried to snowboard
down couch street.
It was very slow and boring,
but I still could
and that's all that matters.

Kara Burke's opening reception

Last friday we had a little get together, to celebrate the artwork of Kara Burke. Her charming illustrations brighten the hearts of all who see them. The turn out was great, and everybody had their fair share of wine and art. If you didn't get a chance to come down during the reception, Kara's works will be up at Hasbeen Design Company (521 ne couch st. Portland, OR 97232) all January long. Make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for our Feburary show.
